This is an opportunity for farmers, gardeners, and conservationists to connect with local resources, organizations, and contacts, including NRCS and FSA, UW-Extension, Dane County Land Conservation, Rooted, Renewing the Countryside, GoFarmConnect, Groundswell Conservancy, and more!

Agenda:

  • 4:00 - Introductions, Time for individual questions
  • 4:30 - Tour of UW-Extension Teaching Garden with Lisa Johnson
  • 5:00 - Rainfall simulator by the Dane County Land and Water Conservation Department
  • 5:30 - Introduction to office space with overviews from organizations, including NRCS and FSA
  • 6:30 - Questions, discussions, and time to visit with specific staff members and organizations
