Jackson County Soil & Water Conservation District will be hosting a Conservation Grazing Field Day on Saturday, May 4th, at Ragland Farms in Gainesboro, TN, from 9 AM to 1 PM. Topics to be covered include soil and forage testing for grazing management, rotational grazing and supporting conservation practices, pasture weed control, and livestock nutrition. For those looking for Master Beef credits, this event is eligible for 4 credits. Lunch will be provided at the event.

This event is being hosted by the conservation district in partnership with the TN Department of Agriculture, USDA NRCS, UT Extension-Jackson County, Jackson County Cattlemen's Association, and Soil and Water Conservation Society.
